OUR STORY

In 2020, the Central Valley Movement Building conducted a SWOT analysis to develop a new five-year plan. As a result, key issues emerged regarding the turnover of organizers and organizations, attacks on progressive organizations, and the need for consistent training and support of CVMB.

Thus, CVMB launched the CVMB Organizing Institute to train Field Organizers, support the organizing work of CVMB, develop organizers/leaders for movement building in Educational Justice, and provide organizing support for marginal communities that are lacking support.
